Job summary

Lonza is seeking a strategic Head of Supply Chain for the Vacaville site to translate global supply chain strategy into site execution. You will own end-to-end planning, master data integrity, and performance management to deliver reliable customer service and cost performance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required or related field; Master’s preferred.
10+ years of progressive Supply Chain experience in manufacturing; pharma/CDMO preferred.
Experience leading end-to-end supply chain operations per GxP requirements; strong quality focus.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end Supply Planning cycles for assigned assets, ensuring optimal service and capacity.
Develop, execute, and maintain supply plans and master production schedules.
Create supply and capacity scenarios to maximize asset utilization and mitigate risks.
Lead monthly S&OP and provide visibility to forecasts, risks, and decisions.
Support budgeting, strategic planning, and business reviews with data-driven insights.
Ensure planning parameters and master data are maintained in SAP, OMP, and related systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align supply strategies with site objectives.
Coordinate with external sites and platforms for integrated manufacturing programs.
Lead readiness for major capital projects and ramp-up.
Own site inventory planning and drive optimization and working capital targets.
