Job summary

Ducommun, Inc. in Appleton, Wisconsin is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to lead the design and execution of a competitive supply chain infrastructure for the site.

You will manage all aspects of the supply chain, from planning to procurement, and work with senior operations leadership to create net value and drive operational excellence. You will build and lead a high-performance team, manage the procurement budget, and partner with internal customers to continuously improve supply chain

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain or related field required.
• APICS/ISM certification preferred.
• Master's degree or MBA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement supply chain vision and leadership for planning and execution of related processes and systems.
• Manage site supply inventory and partner with internal customers to enable procurement excellence.
• Lead local supply chain teams and drive cross-site process efficiencies and standardization.
• Build and lead a high-performance supply chain team including hiring and development.
• Oversee annual procurement budget and drive savings aligned with company goals.
• Collaborate with site leadership to improve supply chain performance and customer satisfaction.
• Drive implementation of supply chain systems and processes to optimize price, quality and delivery.
• Oversee supplier selection, evaluation, and relationship management.
• Develop site-level metrics and report progress to leadership monthly.
• Identify IT solutions to improve supply chain management and cost savings.
• Manage key external and internal supply chain elements supporting inventory goals.
• Participate in strategic supply chain development including supplier opportunities and contract awards.
