Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Senior Production Planner in Chicago, IL (onsite). The role drives end-to-end supply chain planning, from demand alignment to production execution, acting as an integrator across Sales, Operations, Engineering and Procurement.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years in supply chain or production planning, strong ERP/MRP experience (SAP/Oracle), and the ability to work on government contracts in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 7+ years of work experience in Supply Chain or Production Planning/ Scheduling.
• 3+ years of experience with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• 1+ years of experience with data flow through manufacturing processes from design to shipment.
• U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status required to access government contracts or data resources.

Responsabilités

• Develop and manage the master production schedule (MPS) aligned to demand plans and capacity constraints.
• Ensure finite scheduling and sequence optimization to maximize throughput and minimize delays. Influence cross-functional stakeholders to align on priorities.
• Manage production work orders and maintain ERP/MRP accuracy for inventory, BOMs, planning parameters, and product lifecycle updates.
• Review new customer orders to confirm capacity, materials, and design availability to meet customer dates; monitor backlog and service risk.
• Lead monthly Supply Agreement process, including demand/supply balancing, scenario modeling, and risk identification.
• Develop and evaluate supply-demand scenarios resulting in actionable supply plans with trade-offs across service, cost, and inventory.
