Job summary

OPmobility seeks a Materials Supervisor at its Adrian site to oversee daily shipping and receiving operations, supervise staff, and ensure on-time customer delivery while maintaining system accuracy. The role also supports lean manufacturing improvements and acts as backup for master scheduling.

Ideal candidates will have an associates degree (or equivalent) and 3–7 years in automotive manufacturing, with strong Office and SAP skills and proven problem solving and teamwork capabilities.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3 to 7 years of experience in automotive manufacturing preferred.
• Advanced knowledge and experience implementing Lean Systems in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily shipping and receiving operations.
• Supervise the shipping and receiving personnel.
• Manage Shipping operations to ensure customer delivery ratings are met including service deliveries.
• Responsible for maintaining customer systems, and trained as back up for Master Scheduler.
• Schedules cycle counts for counters to perform.
• Ensures compliance score is met.
