Job summary

Evonik Corporation in Tippecanoe, Indiana, seeks a Director of Supply Chain to lead production planning, forecasting, warehousing, and customer service across the site. You will align supply chain strategy with manufacturing goals and drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Lead a high-performing team, manage S&OP, optimize inventory and working capital, and partner with stakeholders to ensure on-time, in-full delivery while maintaining safety and compliance at the site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive supply chain, operations, logistics, or manufacturing experience, including leadership responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles, production planning, inventory management, and operational processes.
• Demonstrated experience leading teams and driving continuous improvement initiatives within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and business objectives in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
• APICS/ASCM and/or Six Sigma certification preferred; experience in process improvement and operational excellence methodologies is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead site Supply Chain organization including production planning, forecasting, warehousing, materials management, shipping, receiving, and customer service.
• Build, coach, and mentor high-performing teams while fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
• Drive talent development, succession planning, performance management, and leadership growth across the department.
• Lead site operations planning, production scheduling, and forecasting to meet business objectives and customer demand.
• Develop and execute supply chain strategy, KPIs, and performance metrics in alignment with global priorities.
• Oversee warehouse operations, inventory management, and material flow while ensuring compliance.
• Manage relationships with customers, auditors, and external stakeholders regarding supply chain activities.
• Manage departmental budgets, drive cost savings, and optimize working capital.
