Job summary

Kuehne+Nagel's West Jefferson, OH site is seeking a Site Supervisor to lead a team and coordinate daily warehouse activities for full and efficient operation. Typical shift is Tuesday-Saturday 6:00AM-3:30PM, guiding a 3PL provider to deliver excellent service.

You will supervise, train, coach, and evaluate team members; promote safety and inclusive culture; optimize processes to meet KPIs; ensure accurate shipments and inventory integrity; and participate in continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in a fast paced warehouse environment.
• 2+ years working in a supervisory role.
• 1 year of experience operating powered industrial trucks.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).

• Supervise and develop the performance of your team through effective training, coaching, and motivational strategies.

• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide timely feedback to team members.

• Ensure shipments are accurate and free of damage, product is counted, and all necessary records and reports are completed accurately and on time.
• Help maintain the security of the warehouse and assure the integrity of inventory.
• Implement continuous improvement action plans.
• Be flexible to work overtime and perform other responsibilities as needed.

How you create impact

As the Site Supervisor, you will lead a team and have general responsibility for coordinating daily warehouse activities to ensure the full and efficient operation of your assigned area. Your typical shift will be Tuesday- Saturday 6:00AM-3:30PM. As a 3PL provider, we will count on your leadership skills to help drive excellent service for our valued customers.

What we would like you to bring

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of experience in a fast paced warehouse environment
