Site Supervisor / Site Lead -- Part-Time or Full-Time

Location: Newton/Needham, MA (On-site job sites)

The Absolute is hiring an experienced Site Supervisor/Site Lead to own daily field execution, quality, pace, coordination, and jobsite problem-solving. This is a flexible hourly independent contractor opportunity that may be structured as either part-time or full-time based on availability and project needs.

Multifamily residential experience is ideal, and commercial experience is a strong plus because those standards translate extremely well into residential construction.

This role offers flexibility based on the candidate's availability and experience. We are open to both part-time and full-time arrangements:

• Full-time candidates will have the opportunity for consistent hours and ongoing project involvement.
• Part-time candidates with significant construction leadership experience may have the opportunity to earn a higher hourly rate while providing focused site leadership and oversight.

Key Responsibilities

• Run daily jobsite operations and keep work moving forward
• Coordinate trades, inspections, deliveries, and site logistics
• Maintain quality standards, punch lists, and jobsite organization
• Identify issues early and communicate practical solutions quickly
• Help reduce the amount of daily owner supervision required

Qualifications

• Hands-on site leadership experience as a superintendent, foreman, lead carpenter, site supervisor, or in a comparable role
• Strong communication skills and sound jobsite judgment
• Reliable transportation for local job sites, with most work concentrated around Newton
• English proficiency required for job-related communication
• Additional language skills, including Spanish, Portuguese, or Russian, are a plus
• Multifamily residential experience
• Meaningful commercial construction exposure, including familiarity with commercial systems and terminology

Compensation & Opportunity

• Flexible part-time or full-time schedule
• Independent contractor position
• Full-time rate: approximately $35/hour, depending on experience
• Part-time rate: up to $50/hour for highly experienced candidates
