This on-site, independent contractor role offers flexibility to be arranged as part-time or full-time, with the full-time rate around $35/hour and part-time up to $50/hour, depending on experience and project needs.

Strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• H hands-on site leadership experience as a superintendent, foreman, lead carpenter, site supervisor, or equivalent.
• Strong communication skills and sound jobsite judgment.
• Reliable transportation for local job sites, with most work around Newton.
• English proficiency required for job-related communication.
• Additional languages (Spanish, Portuguese, or Russian) are a plus.
• Multifamily residential experience; familiarity with commercial systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Run daily jobsite operations and keep work moving forward.
• Coordinate trades, inspections, deliveries, and site logistics.
• Maintain quality standards, punch lists, and jobsite organization.
• Identify issues early and communicate practical solutions quickly.
• Help reduce the amount of daily owner supervision required.
