Job summary

WNCSource seeks a Site Supervisor to oversee a children’s center, ensuring quality, safety, and NC Pre-K/Head Start compliance while traveling between sites.

Qualifications

• Baccalaureate degree in Early Childhood Education, Human Services, or related field.
• NC Child Care Administrator Credential, Level III. Degree(s) must be from an accredited college recognized by the NC Department of Child Development and Early Education.
• Three years of experience administering/directing an NC-licensed 5-star child care facility/program.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations at a children's center ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with NC Pre-K and Head Start standards.
• Implement program policies and procedures for the overall operation of the center.
• Supervise management functions to ensure compliance with local/state/federal requirements.

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position implements program policies and procedures for the overall operation of an entire children’s center and provides a high-quality program by following NC Pre-K guidelines, Head Start Performance Standards, and the NC Department of Child Development and Early Education. The Site Supervisor oversees and supervises the management functions to ensure quality, safety, and all applicable local/state/federal program compliance .

Requirements

EDUCATION/TRAINING:

• B accalaureate degree in Early Childhood Education, Human Services, or a related field
• NC Child Care Administrator Credential, Level III. Degree(s) must be from an accredited college recognized by the NC Department of Child Development and Early Education.

EXPERIENCE:

• Three years of experience administering/directing an NC-licensed 5-star child care facility/program.
• Early Head Start/Head Start/NC Pre-K experience preferred.
