Site Supervisor, Implementations - United States (Travel-Based)

FLAGLER TECHNOLOGIES Professional Services

United States | Full-Time | Travel-Based

Who Are We?

Flagler Technologies is a full-service technology solutions provider delivering IT infrastructure, managed services, cybersecurity, cloud, and professional services to organizations across the United States.

We combine the technical capabilities and operational discipline required to support enterprise environments with the responsiveness and flexibility of a trusted technology partner. From ongoing IT operations and end-user support to large-scale infrastructure deployments across geographically distributed locations, Flagler helps customers design, deploy, manage, and secure the technology their businesses depend on.

For this position, we're looking for an experienced Site Supervisor who can provide onsite leadership and technical oversight for large-scale IT infrastructure and technology deployment projects throughout the United States.

What Does a Typical Day Look Like in This Role?

As the Site Supervisor, Implementations, you'll serve as Flagler Technologies' primary field representative during project execution. You'll coordinate onsite personnel and subcontractors, monitor workmanship and project progress, resolve field issues, and ensure installations meet project requirements and quality standards.

A typical day may include:

  • Coordinating daily onsite activities among Flagler personnel, subcontractors, customer representatives, general contractors, electricians, and other trades.
  • Reviewing project plans, scopes of work, construction drawings, schedules, and installation requirements.
  • Supervising structured cabling, network infrastructure, wireless infrastructure, security-camera, access-control, and other low-voltage installations.
  • Monitoring project scope, schedule, workmanship, safety, and customer expectations.
  • Conducting field inspections and maintaining punch lists throughout the project.
  • Verifying cable labeling, termination, testing, equipment placement, rack organization, patching, and overall installation quality.
  • Identifying field conditions, risks, delays, and scope discrepancies and escalating them promptly to the Project Manager.
  • Providing regular status updates, photographs, documentation, and completion reports to project stakeholders.
  • Assisting with hands‑on installation, testing, and troubleshooting when project conditions require additional support.
  • Participating in final walkthroughs, commissioning, corrective work, and customer acceptance.

The role may involve work with:

  • Structured copper and fiber-optic cabling
  • Cable pathways, supports, labeling, termination, testing, and certification
  • MDF and IDF buildouts
  • Network racks and cabinets
  • Switches, firewalls, UPS systems, patch panels, and related equipment
  • Wireless access points
  • Security cameras
  • Door-access and access-control systems
  • Other low-voltage and technology infrastructure

This is a travel-intensive, full-time position supporting project sites throughout the United States. Travel may represent approximately 50-75% or more of the role, depending on active projects and deployment schedules. Candidates should be comfortable with frequent air and vehicle travel, overnight stays, occasional extended assignments, and evening or weekend work when required by construction schedules or project milestones.

What Qualifications or Experience Do I Need?

We're looking for someone with substantial field experience in low-voltage and network-infrastructure deployments, along with the leadership skills necessary to coordinate technicians, subcontractors, customers, and construction partners.

Candidates should bring:

  • At least five years of experience in low-voltage installation, structured cabling, network‑infrastructure deployment, or related field work.
  • Previous experience as a Low-Voltage Foreman, Lead Technician, Site Supervisor, Field Supervisor, or similar position.
  • Demonstrated experience supervising technicians, subcontractors, or other onsite resources.
  • Strong knowledge of structured copper and fiber-optic cabling.
  • Experience with MDF and IDF construction and network-rack buildouts.
  • Experience reading construction drawings, floor plans, low-voltage drawings, scopes of work, and project documentation.
  • The ability to identify installation deficiencies and enforce workmanship and quality standards.
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and field decision‑making skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to prepare accurate field documentation, photographs, punch lists, status updates, and completion reports.
  • The ability to coordinate effectively with Project Managers, customers, subcontractors, general contractors, electricians, and other trades.
  • The ability to work independently and represent Flagler Technologies professionally at customer and construction sites.
  • A valid driver's license and the ability to travel extensively throughout the United States.

Because this position includes hands‑on work in active construction, warehouse, and commercial environments, candidates must also be able to:

  • Independently lift 50 pounds regularly and up to 75 pounds occasionally.
  • Walk and stand for extended periods.
  • Work at heights exceeding 35 feet using ladders, scaffolding, or lifts.
  • Climb ladders and access equipment‑installation areas.
  • Lift and carry equipment, tools, and materials.
  • Work safely around active construction activities.
  • Work in environments that may not yet have permanent heating or air conditioning.
  • Safely use appropriate hand and power tools.

Just as importantly, we're looking for someone who is humble, hungry, and people‑smart - a field leader who takes ownership, communicates clearly, supports the people around them, and maintains high standards even when project conditions change.

What Will Help You Stand Out?

While not required, you'll stand out if you have:

  • Experience supporting warehouse, distribution-center, manufacturing, or large commercial technology deployments.
  • Experience installing or supervising access‑control and security‑camera systems.
  • Experience coordinating directly with general contractors, electricians, construction managers, and other trades.
  • Familiarity with BICSI, TIA, and other structured‑cabling standards and industry best practices.
  • Experience with fiber installation, termination, testing, and certification.
  • Experience managing multiple subcontractors across geographically distributed projects.
  • Experience identifying, evaluating, and developing relationships with qualified subcontractors in multiple markets.
  • Manufacturer or industry certifications related to structured cabling, fiber, networking, security, or access control.
  • BICSI certification or formal BICSI training.
  • Experience supporting testing, commissioning, project closeout, and customer acceptance.

This position provides opportunities to broaden your technical, field‑leadership, project‑coordination, and service‑delivery skills while working on complex technology deployments across the United States.

You'll work with experienced project and technical resources, gain exposure to varied customer environments, and help strengthen Flagler Technologies' network of trusted field partners and subcontractors.

Flagler Technologies also provides access to industry training and certification reimbursement to support your continued professional development.

What Else Should You Know About Us?
  • 3 Weeks of Paid Time Off (vacation and sick time accrued, subject to manager approval).
  • Healthcare Options with 75% of your premium covered.
  • 401k with up to 4% matching and immediate vesting*
  • Access to industry training and certification reimbursement to support your growth.*

*Devices that access company resources will need to be managed by us while being used for work purposes. A company computer and peripherals will be provided. You'll need a personal cell phone for multi‑factor authentication and a reliable internet connection - we even provide a stipend for this.

Thanks for considering a position with us!

If you're an experienced field leader who enjoys coordinating complex technology deployments, maintaining high installation standards, and helping teams deliver successful projects, we'd like to hear from you.
