Job summary

Securitas US Business Unit is hiring a Site Supervisor for the Ellendale, ND location. The role oversees Security Officers and Lead Officers, enforces post orders, and maintains safety and security for client sites.

The position requires strong leadership, solid customer service, and the ability to manage multiple posts efficiently. The role entails coaching staff, ensuring adequate post coverage, and coordinating with client representatives to meet security requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills.
• Above average computer/technology skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently and stay calm under pressure.
• Driver certification is required.
• 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.
• 2 years of security experience required.

Responsibilities

• Functions as a supervisor of Security Officers, Lead Officers, and other personnel assigned to client posts; ensures post orders are followed, rounds completed, and reports filed; notifies authorities and client in emergencies.
• Coaches and disciplines personnel; seeks guidance as needed; meets with employees and documents coaching and disciplinary actions.
• Trains Security Officers and other personnel; reviews post orders and assignment details with subordinates.
• Ensures adequate coverage of all posts and positions in coordination with management.
• Prepares, files, and submits various reports; inspects posts and outlines tasks for subordinates.
• Meets with client representatives to provide assurance that security requirements are met and to deliver quality customer service.
• May perform duties of a Security Officer in line with post orders and company policy.

What You Can Expect:

• Functions as a supervisor of Security Officers, Lead Officers, and other company personnel assigned to one or more posts at client site(s); acts to ensure that all post orders are followed, that established rounds are completed, and that required reports are filed; notifies proper authorities and client in emergency situations.
• Coaches and disciplines personnel as appropriate; seeks advice from company management or designated representatives as appropriate; meets personally with employees and documents coaching and disciplinary actions.
• Trains Security Officers and other company personnel; reviews post orders and other details of assignments with subordinates.
• In conjunction with company management or designated representatives ensures adequate coverage of all posts and positions.
• Prepares, files, and submits various reports as required.
• Inspects posts as scheduled and meets with subordinates to outline tasks and responsibilities.
• Meets with client representatives as scheduled or as needed to provide assurance that all security requirements are being met and to provide quality customer service.
• May perform the duties of a Security Officer in accord with post orders and company policy.

Basic Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• 1 year of Supervisory experience preferred.
• 2 years of Security experience required.
• Driver certification.
