Position

Our Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day field operations of luxury custom home and remodeling projects. This role is responsible for coordinating subcontractors, managing project schedules, ensuring quality workmanship, and maintaining a safe and organized job site. The ideal candidate is a proactive construction professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates effectively with clients and trade partners, and is committed to delivering exceptional homes that reflect Cullen Construction’s reputation for craftsmanship and service.

As a key member of the project team, the Site Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and to the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

Primary Responsibilities
  1. Oversee day-to-day field operations for luxury custom home and remodeling projects, coordinating subcontractors, vendors, material deliveries, and on-site activities.
  2. Develop, manage, and maintain project schedules to ensure milestones are achieved and projects remain on track from start to completion.
  3. Coordinate and supervise trade partners to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project plans, building codes, and company quality standards.
  4. Collaborate with internal team members to support permitting, inspections, change orders, and project documentation throughout the construction process.
  5. Maintain accurate project records, schedules, daily logs, and progress updates using Buildertrend and other project management tools.
  6. Review and interpret construction plans, specifications, and scopes of work to ensure successful project execution.
  7. Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for homeowners, architects, designers, and project stakeholders, providing regular communication and exceptional customer service.
  8. Assist clients with selections, project changes, and decision-making throughout the construction process while ensuring expectations are effectively managed.
  9. Manage punch list completion, project closeout activities, final quality inspections, and turnover documentation to ensure a seamless client experience.
  10. Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and municipal officials to support successful project delivery.
  11. Enforce job site safety standards and promote a clean, organized, and safe working environment for all team members and trade partners.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  1. Experience managing luxury residential construction projects, including custom homes, high-end renovations, premium finishes, and detailed craftsmanship.
  2. Strong client relationship and communication skills, with the ability to build trust, manage expectations, and collaborate effectively with homeowners, architects, designers, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
  3. Demonstrated success leading complex remodeling and custom home construction projects from pre-construction through project completion.
  4. Thorough knowledge of residential construction methods, building systems, construction sequencing, and applicable building codes.
  5. Ability to read, interpret, and execute construction plans, specifications, contracts, scopes of work, and other project-related documentation.
  6. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to proactively address challenges in the field.
  7. Proficiency with construction management software, such as Buildertrend, as well as mobile technology and digital project documentation tools.
  8. Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain attention to detail, and thrive in a fast-paced project environment while delivering exceptional quality and customer service.
Experience Requirements
  1. Minimum of 7 years of experience leading residential construction projects; high end construction experience is preferred.
  1. Proven track record of managing teams, vendors, and client relationships.
  2. Hands‑on experience with construction site oversight, safety management, and quality assurance.
  3. Demonstrated experience in process improvement and implementing operational best practices.
  4. Certified OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 preferred, or willingness to train.
  5. Hands on construction‑related experience, preferred.
