Job summary

Saft America, Inc. is seeking a Site Supervisor to directly supervise the on-site team and commissioning team, coordinating with subcontractors and supporting testing of battery energy storage systems.

The role requires hands-on field experience in electrical and mechanical disciplines and oversight of project execution on industrial sites. Applicants should have an Associate's Degree and at least three years of on-site supervision, with strong English proficiency and Spanish as a plus.

• Experience supervising multiple personnel on industrial projects in the power generation/EPC sector.
• Experience managing a technical team.
• Battery knowledge is a plus.
• Fluent in English; Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Directly leads commissioning engineers, system engineers, HVAC controls engineers and Quality Managers.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and support quality reports and documentation.
• Support safety initiatives for projects.
• Oversee daily operations and monitor project progress.
• Interface with HSE, project managers, and installation/commissioning leaders.
• Learn Saft ESS product line.
• Document technical knowledge and lessons learned.

All About You

The Site Supervisor directly supervises the on site team and commissioning team. The Site Supervisor takes direction from the Site Manager and performs onsite supervision and coordination with subcontractors, provides site inputs for quality reports, support to commissioning, troubleshooting, and testing of battery energy storage systems. Required to have on site hands on field experience with an Electrical, Mechanical and troubleshooting background.

Requirements

• Minimum Associate's Degree with an electrical or mechanical discipline
• Minimum of three years on site electrical project supervision
• Experience supervising multiple personnel during project execution of industrial projects in the power generation / energy field / EPC works
• Experience managing a technical team
• Battery knowledge a plus
• Fluent in English and fluency in Spanish a plus

Responsibilities

• Directly leads the day to day activities of the commissioning engineers, system engineers, HVAC controls engineers and Quality Managers. Liase any techincal support questions between the customer, stakeholders and Saft, if needed.
• Onsite supervision and coordination with subcontractors, provides site inputs or supports the completion of Saft quality reports / documentation / checklists
• Support all Safety for projects initiatives with the support of the Site Manager and Leadership
• Oversee daily operations, track and monitor project progress, adhering to prearranged standards
• Participate in continuous improvement of project execution and the quality system
• Interface with HSE, project managers, and installation and commissioning managers
• Learn and understand Saft ESS product line
• Assist in documenting technical knowledge and lessons learned
