Job summary

Securitas USA seeks a Site Supervisor in Maryland Heights, MO to manage Security Officers and lead client-site security operations. You will ensure post orders are followed, rounds completed, and reports filed, with timely emergency response.

The role requires strong customer service, team leadership, and the ability to train staff, coordinate coverage, and communicate with client representatives. A high school diploma and valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Functions as supervisor of Security Officers, Lead Officers, and other personnel on client sites; ensure post orders are followed, rounds completed, and reports filed.
• Coaches and disciplines personnel; consults with management as needed; holds one-on-one meetings and documents actions.
• Trains Security Officers and assigns tasks; reviews post orders with subordinates.
• Ensures adequate coverage of all posts and positions in coordination with management.
• Prepares, files, and submits various reports.
• Inspects posts and outlines tasks for subordinates.
• Meets with client representatives to ensure security requirements are met and provide quality service.
• Conducts extensive foot patrols.
• May perform Security Officer duties as needed.

Primary Location: Maryland Heights, MO

Wage: $22.10/HR

TheSite Supervisor helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

What You Can Expect

• Functions as a supervisor of Security Officers, Lead Officers, and other company personnel assigned to one or more posts at client site(s); acts to ensure that all post orders are followed, that established rounds are completed, and that required reports are filed; notifies proper authorities and client in emergency situations.
• Coaches and disciplines personnel as appropriate; seeks advice from company management or designated representatives as appropriate; meets personally with employees and documents coaching and disciplinary actions.
• Trains Security Officers and other company personnel; reviews post orders and other details of assignments with subordinates.
• In conjunction with company management or designated representatives ensures adequate coverage of all posts and positions.
• Prepares, files, and submits various reports as required.
• Inspects posts as scheduled and meets with subordinates to outline tasks and responsibilities.
• Meets with client representatives as scheduled or as needed to provide assurance that all security requirements are being met and to provide quality customer service.
• Conduct extensive foot patrols.
• May perform the duties of a Security Officer in accord with post orders and company policy.

Basic Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• Prior supervisory experience in security, military, law enforcement, or related field experience
• preferred.
• Must be flexible and willing to work on short notice to cover call offs.
• Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid drivers license required.
