Job summary

Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. in Maryland Heights, MO is seeking a Site Supervisor to manage security officers across client sites. You will enforce post orders, coordinate patrols, and ensure safety standards are met while delivering strong client service.

The role requires 18+ years old, a high school diploma or GED, and excellent communication. Valid driver’s license and pre-employment screening are required. This is a full-time onsite position with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills.
• Must be able to work independently and remain calm under pressure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Willing to participate in pre-employment screening including drug test & background check.
• Prior supervisory experience in security preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Security Officers, Lead Officers, and other staff at client sites and ensure post orders are followed.
• Coach and discipline personnel as needed and document actions.
• Train staff on post orders and duties.
• Ensure adequate coverage for all posts and shifts.
• Prepare, file, and submit reports as required.
• Inspect posts and brief subordinates on tasks.
• Meet with client representatives to confirm security requirements and service quality.
• Conduct extensive foot patrols.
• May perform Security Officer duties as needed.

Primary Location: Maryland Heights, MO

Wage: $22.10/HR

The Site Supervisor helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

What You Can Expect

• Functions as a supervisor of Security Officers, Lead Officers, and other company personnel assigned to one or more posts at client site(s); acts to ensure that all post orders are followed, that established rounds are completed, and that required reports are filed; notifies proper authorities and client in emergency situations.
• Coaches and disciplines personnel as appropriate; seeks advice from company management or designated representatives as appropriate; meets personally with employees and documents coaching and disciplinary actions.
• Trains Security Officers and other company personnel; reviews post orders and other details of assignments with subordinates.
• In conjunction with company management or designated representatives ensures adequate coverage of all posts and positions.
• Prepares, files, and submits various reports as required.
• Inspects posts as scheduled and meets with subordinates to outline tasks and responsibilities.
• Meets with client representatives as scheduled or as needed to provide assurance that all security requirements are being met and to provide quality customer service.
• Conduct extensive foot patrols.
• May perform the duties of a Security Officer in accord with post orders and company policy.

Basic Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• Prior supervisory experience in security, military, law enforcement, or related field experience preferred.
• Must be flexible and willing to work on short notice to cover call offs.
• Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid drivers license required.
