Job summary

DC Builders & DC Structures is seeking a Construction Superintendent to oversee from initial client discussions through project completion. You will manage budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and project teams to ensure high-quality craftsmanship and timely delivery across diverse heavy timber projects.

The role requires framing experience, strong communication, travel readiness, and a hands-on leadership style to coordinate trades and drive successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management/Project Management or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Willingness to travel to project locations as required.
• Ability to work irregular hours and travel long distances.
• Proficient in coordinating and communicating with all building trades.
• Demonstrated framing experience and end-to-end construction knowledge.
• Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to high-quality craftsmanship.
• Personable leadership style with the ability to motivate staff.
• Excellent professional communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Engage in preliminary project discussions with clients to understand vision and budget.
• Develop and manage schedules, budgets, and scopes with project teams.
• Oversee subcontractor buyout and contract drafting.
• Prepare and organize pricing lists and quantities for materials and services.
• Oversee permitting process and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with clients and design teams for bid-ready scopes.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to align budgets and progress.
• Lead pre-construction kickoff and internal handoffs to construction teams.
