Job summary

GPSI Guam, supporting Kina’ole’s Hawaii office, seeks a Site Superintendent in Honolulu to oversee daily construction operations across the Hawaiian Islands. The role requires strong design-build experience and leadership of field crews and subcontractors to ensure on-time, on-budget project delivery.

Applicants should have OSHA 30 and First Aid/CPR certifications, with a minimum of 10 years in design-build construction for projects valued 10–100M.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Coordinate site work schedule and manpower; track materials and equipment.

• Coordinate daily with Project Manager.
• Maintain and update project schedule.
• Complete daily reports.
• Monitor workmanship and submittal compliance.
• Read/understand plans and update as‑builts.
• Track and close punch list.

Job Description

The Site Superintendent will be responsible for all aspects for the daily operations of the construction project. This position is being filled to support Kina’ole’s Hawaii office located in Honolulu and will support projects throughout the Hawaiian Islands.

Duties and Responsibilities include

• Coordinate the site‑specific work schedule, appropriation of manpower, and track material and equipment requirements
• Coordinates, schedules and manages field crews and subcontractors in order to execute the construction project on time, on budget
• Coordinate daily with Project Manager
• Maintain and assist with updating project schedule
• Complete daily reporting requirements
• Monitor workmanship and maintain compliance with submittal requirements
• Read/Understand Plans and Specifications, and update as‑builts
• Track and complete punch list according to contract requirements
• Perform other position‑related duties as assigned

Position Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Design Build Construction with projects of at least $10-100M in value
• A minimum 5 years of experience on construction contracts as a Site Superintendent
• OSHA 30 Certification
• First Aid/CPR Certification
