Job summary

Whitecap Search is seeking a dedicated professional to lead our on-site construction operations, ensuring safe, high-quality, and efficient project execution. The role focuses on planning, execution, and completion of construction projects while fostering client relationships and enhancing company image.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, proven leadership, and the ability to coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to deliver on-time

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in construction management or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
  • Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members, subcontractors, and clients.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Relevant certifications such as OSHA, PMP, or similar are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing the project schedule and communicate sequence and schedule updates to all subcontractors and vendors.
  • Maintain and enforce a project site logistics, and temporary facilities plan.
  • Maintain and enforce a project site-specific safety program in accordance with Policies and Processes, OSHA requirements, local, state, and federal laws to include all subcontractors.
  • Maintain and enforce a project-specific quality assurance and workmanship program to include all subcontractors.
  • Verify Subcontractor Compliance five (5) days prior to the scheduled start date.
  • Manage any/all OSHA site visits.
  • Participate with project management on the issuance of all monthly progress reports, monthly payment applications, and pending documents.
  • Install standardized project signage from Corporate Marketing and other required identification material.
  • Perform and monitor all jobsite control reporting measures including daily reports, monthly reports, accident reports, and time sheets.
  • Maintain an accurate set of As-builts for all mechanicals.
  • Coordinate and manage all material deliveries, subcontractors, and self-performed work.
  • Ensure timely project completion through project scheduling, expediting of material deliveries, and the management of material and document submittals/approvals.
  • Coordinate daily construction activities within existing operating facilities.
  • Execute a plan for monitoring and completing punchlist items. Coordinate all required field inspections.
  • Provide technical assistance to all members of the project team.
  • Develop and mentor subordinates towards a successful career with the company.
  • Promote the growth and development of client, subcontractor, and vendor relationships.
  • Identify new work opportunities and inform Sales and Marketing of potential projects with current clients.
