Job summary

Inter-Con Security Systems, Inc. in Memphis, TN seeks a Site/Shift Supervisor to lead daily security operations and customer service at a fast-growing site. You will enforce safety and security standards, manage access and badge processes, and ensure a welcoming, secure environment for employees and guests.

The role requires 2–3 years of security supervision, an Associate degree or equivalent, and strong communication. On-site position with comprehensive training and benefits.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Minimum of 2-3 years' experience managing people in security focused or related role.
• Strong computer and systems skills, including office software, access management, CCTV, alarm systems, and incident reporting systems.
• Ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced organization, coordinating and managing multiple tasks.
• Demonstrated ability to ensure compliance of standards and training.
• Strong strategic, analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.
• Ability to provide accountability for performance as well as inspire individuals on the team to perform at their best.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and process all personnel and visitors, administering appropriate badge identification, and providing assistance when necessary
• Answer all incoming calls, appropriately directing them and logging voicemail
• Report/monitor suspicious persons, calls and/or events, in coordination with Client and Inter-Con Security/Facility stakeholders
• Additional duties (i.e. Parking Validation, Package Tracking, Security Access/Video Monitoring), as required
• Assist in emergency safety/security response efforts
