Job summary

Northern Star Resources Limited is seeking a Contracts and Site Services Lead for a full-time, on-site role in Delta Junction, AK. You will manage camp services and transportation contracts, coordinate with contractors and our HR team, and oversee the administrative staff to deliver high-quality site services while controlling costs.

The role requires strong contract management, data analysis, and leadership skills in a remote mine-site environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• Current Driver’s License.
• Previous contract and project management experience, preferably in the resources sector, and preferably on a remote site.
• Experience in managing and directing the work of others.
• Excellent understanding of office processes, systems (INX) and equipment.
• Experience in creating and analysing complex data and presenting with context to expanded audiences.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Advanced computer literacy – Microsoft Office suite, database systems including INX, Pronto, etc. Advanced skills in Excel and Power Point are particularly important in this role.

Responsibilities

• Manage site services contracts including camp services (food service/housekeeping/janitorial) and transportation contracts; audit and maintain standards.
• Monitor service levels and performance indicators; take corrective actions as needed.
• Oversee Camp Occupancy schedules and maximize camp efficiency.
• Coordinate with Camp Services Contractor and Site Services Maintenance Team to escalate and resolve maintenance issues.
• Oversee contract administration and participate in bid processes for site support contracts; review POs and invoicing.
