Job summary

Securitas, Inc. is seeking a Security Supervisor to oversee Officers and Lead Officers across client sites in California. You will ensure post orders are followed, conduct training, and manage schedules and reports to maintain high security standards.

You will coach staff, participate in payroll processes, and coordinate with client representatives to deliver reliable, quality service while adapting to various sites and procedures.

Qualifications

• May be required to hold and continue to meet the requirements for any applicable state, county and municipal license for Security Officers.
• Knowledge of security operations with an emphasis on patrol, inspection and response services.
• Knowledge of supervisory practices and procedures.
• Ability to provide positive direction and motivate performance.
• Understanding of security devices and controls.

Responsibilities

• supervise Security Officers, Lead Officers and others at client sites and ensure post orders followed
• ensure rounds are completed and reports filed; notify authorities/client in emergencies
• coach and discipline personnel; conduct meetings and document actions
• train Officers; review post orders and assignments with team
• assist in submission of payroll and personnel information
• ensure adequate coverage of all posts and positions
• prepare, file and submit reports; inspect posts and outline tasks
• meet with client representatives to confirm security requirements and service quality
• perform supervisory duties such as interviewing, orienting, and training staff; hiring/termination recommendations
• may perform duties of a Security Officer in line with post orders
