Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Guard - Full Time in Martinsburg, WV. You will provide on-site security and help ensure client site safety and regulatory compliance.

We offer weekly pay, paid training, uniforms and equipment provided at no cost, and excellent benefits. The role requires a high school diploma and the ability to pass required training and licensing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass state-required training or licensing.
• Must be able to pass a state licensing test if driving company-owned or client-provided vehicle.
• One of: active-duty military, military reserves, or National Guard; Auxiliary Police or Police Cadets; minimum 1 year supervisory experience in security; Associate's degree or higher.

Responsibilities

• Oversee security function on-site including staffing, scheduling and on-site training.
• Ensure contract-required training and screening elements for security personnel are met.
• Maintain overtime to a minimum as designated by AUS.
• Inspect security personnel performance for quality of service and contract compliance.
• Perform payroll, review incident reports, and assist in security surveys and post orders.
• Make recommendations for personnel actions for staff under supervision.
• Respond to client requests and communicate emergencies per site Post Orders.
• Provide direction to subordinates regarding duties.
• Handle disciplinary actions and commendations.
