Job summary

Allied Universal is Now Hiring in Fairmont, WV. A part-time Security Guard position offering $14.50 per hour with weekly pay, uniforms, and paid training.

You will protect clients across industries by performing safety procedures, responding to incidents calmly, and conducting routine patrols around the site. Applicants must be 18+ (21+ for armed), have a HS diploma or 5 years verifiable experience, and pass background checks and a drug screen.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• A drug screen is required to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and may be required prior to employment; a valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
