Responsibilities

The Site Security Manager (SSM) oversees security aspects of project planning, design, and construction, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements for facility accreditation. Responsibilities include developing security plans, conducting inspections, managing security violations, coordinating with construction teams, and ensuring adherence to security policies such as NISPOM, ICD, UFCs, and SAP policies. The SSM also provides security oversight, conducts briefings, and develops accreditation documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 3 years of related experience, or 7 years of experience without a degree.
• Experience with physical security, personnel management, or construction management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to obtain required certifications within specified timeframes.
• Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs and walk long distances.

Preferred qualifications include industry certifications such as Site Security Manager certification, former Construction Surveillance Technician, or Commercial Blueprint Reading certification.
