Integra is seeking a Site Security Manager to lead daily security operations at a project site, overseeing access control, investigations, emergency response, and security performance management. The role partners with operations, HR, IT, and law enforcement to ensure a safe and resilient environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead implementation of site security policies, procedures, standards and post orders.
  • Oversee access control, badges, and visitor management programs.
  • Manage security incident response and investigations including theft, property damage, workplace violence, insider threats.
  • Support emergency preparedness, drills, and business continuity planning.
  • Coordinate with HR, Legal, HSE, Operations and law enforcement as needed.
  • Monitor contract security staffing, performance, and training.
  • Deliver security awareness training and promote threat reporting.

Location Texas Department DEPCON The Opportunity The Site Security Manager SSM is responsible for leading the daily security operations programs and personnel assigned to a specific project site This role provides direct oversight of physical security access control investigations emergency response support contractor and visitor security and security performance management The SSM serves as the primary site security leader and is accountable for ensuring the protection of employees visitors contractors company assets intellectual property and business operations The FSSM ensures compliance with company security standards client requirements applicable regulations and site specific procedures while driving a proactive security culture focused on prevention accountability and operational readiness The SSM works closely with Operations HSE Human Resources Information Technology Facilities project leadership contract security providers and law enforcement agencies to maintain a safe secure and resilient operating environment

What you will do
  • Security Program Leadership Lead implementation of site security policies procedures standards and post ordersMaintain and improve the facility security plan and site specific security proceduresEnsure compliance with corporate security requirements client expectations and contractual obligationsConduct security risk assessments vulnerability reviews and site security inspectionsIdentify physical security gaps and develop corrective action plansSupport enterprise security initiatives and continuous improvement effortsServe as the site point of contact for security audits assessments and client security reviews
  • Access Control & Physical Security Manage facility access control systems visitor management systems and badging programsOversee issuance tracking auditing suspension and deactivation of badges and credentialsEnsure proper control of keys locks restricted areas gates turnstiles and controlled access pointsMonitor and maintain security technology systems includingCCTVIntrusion detection systemsAccess control systemsVisitor management systemsAlarm monitoring systemsGate and perimeter systemsCoordinate maintenance testing and repair of security systemsEnsure security controls are effective for personnel contractors visitors deliveries and high value assets

  • Contractor & Visitor Security Management Verify and enforce security requirements for contractors vendors visitors and delivery personnelEnsure visitor access escort and badging procedures are followedSupport contractor onboarding and site security briefingsMonitor contractor compliance with site security rulesSupport project mobilization demobilization and temporary security planningCoordinate with project leadership to ensure security controls are in place during high risk work off hours work and major site activities
  • Security Operations Management Manage daily security operations and contract security personnelDevelop and maintain security staffing plans post assignments and coverage schedulesConduct post inspections officer audits and security performance reviewsReview security officer reports logs patrol records and incident documentationVerify security personnel maintain professional appearance conduct and customer service expectationsProvide direction coaching and escalation support to security officersCoordinate with contract security providers regarding staffing performance training and corrective actions
  • Security Awareness & Training Deliver or coordinate security awareness training for employees contractors and visitorsSupport site orientation and onboarding programsPromote threat awareness suspicious activity reporting workplace violence prevention and access control complianceConduct security drills and exercises as requiredMaintain security training records and participation documentationReinforce security expectations through field engagement briefings and leadership communication

Minimum Requirements
  • Minimum 7 years of security law enforcement military emergency management or corporate security experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience managing facility project site or industrial security operations
  • Experience supervising contract security personnel or security teams
  • Experience with access control CCTV investigations emergency response and physical security programs
  • FEMA ICS100200700 and800
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30
Required Qualifications
  • Associate degree in Criminal Justice Security Management Emergency Management Business Administration or a related field preferred
  • Equivalent military law enforcement emergency management or corporate security experience may be substituted
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in manufacturing construction critical infrastructure data centers or industrial environments preferred
  • Certified Protection Professional CPP preferred
  • Physical Security Professional PSP preferred
  • Associate Protection Professional APP preferred
  • Certified Homeland Protection Professional CHPP preferred
