Job summary

Constellation in Middletown Township, PA, is seeking a Station Security leader to manage the Physical Protection, Fitness for Duty, and Access Authorization programs, ensuring compliance with all regulatory commitments and safeguarding the facility.

You will direct security staff, oversee budgeting, and advise management on security operations, while aligning with industry best practices and outage support as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 10 years of overall experience, which includes 6 years Security, Law Enforcement or Military and supervisory or managerial experience
• Current or previous Senior Reactor Operator license with 10 years of experience, which includes 6 years Security, Law Enforcement or Military and supervisory or managerial experience
• Associates with 12 years of experience, which includes 8 years Security, Law Enforcement or Military and supervisory or managerial experience
• High school diploma/GED with 14 years of experience, which includes 10 years Security, Law Enforcement or Military and supervisory or managerial experience
• Maintain minimum access requirement or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties

Responsibilities

• Manage the Physical Protection, Fitness for Duty and Access Authorization programs for the station.
• Direct activities and monitor the performance of the station security staff. Where included as employees, this would include the physical guard force
• Develop and manage the station security budget.
• Advise and counsel station management on Security Operations, Fitness for Duty and Access Authorization issues.
• Identify and implement industry best practices to ensure regulatory compliance and efficient use of resources. This includes maintaining healthy learning programs, i.e. CAP, Self-Assessment, OPEX, and Benchmarking.
• Own the establishment and implementation of strategic plans for the security organization. This includes all aspects of the site business plan process.
• Own the maintenance of the Physical Protection, Fitness for Duty and Access Authorization Programs. This includes assuring physical security equipment is properly maintained and station resources are focused on the equipment priorities for security.
• Perform other job assignments and duties as directed by management or pursuant to company policy, including but not limited to emergency response, departmental coverage, call outs, and support of outage activities in positions outside the department.
