Job summary

Legends Global Oakland is seeking a part-time Security Dispatcher to safeguard patrons, staff and assets across our Oakland venues. You will oversee the facility security team and coordinate with officers to maintain safety, enforcement of SOPs, and timely incident reporting.

You will monitor shifts, inspect posts, and liaise with law enforcement as needed, ensuring professional conduct and rapid response to incidents in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency; BA/BS preferred.
• 3-5 years of related security experience.
• California driver’s license.
• Current California guard card preferred or obtain prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the quality and effectiveness of the entire facility security team at the site.
• Direct and monitor the performance of facility security officers.
• Perform shift inspections to ensure professional appearance and readiness.
• Review daily activity and incident reports against CCTV footage and amend as needed.
• Assess threat levels and direct appropriate actions by the security team.
• Coordinate with law enforcement to obtain information on community issues and impacts.
• Inform Facility Security Manager of issues and actions taken.
• Enforce security protocols and SOPs, and attend briefings and trainings.
• Maintain staffing levels and daily post rotations.
• Manage lost-and-found items properly.
• Other duties as assigned.
