Job summary

Legends Global Oakland is seeking a Part Time Security Dispatcher to safeguard patrons, employees and assets, and to oversee the performance of the Facility Security Officers at the Oakland venues.

The role requires strong leadership, crisis management, and disciplined reporting. Responsibilities include directing security officers, inspecting posts, reviewing incident logs, coordinating with law enforcement, and enforcing SOPs and staffing standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; BA/BS preferred.
• 3–5 years of related security experience.
• Ability to manage crises and stay composed under pressure.
• California Driver's License required.
• Valid California guard card or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Direct and monitor the performance of facility security officers.
• Conduct shift start inspections to ensure professional appearance and readiness.
• Review daily activity and incident reports against footage and adjust as needed.
• Assess threat level and direct appropriate actions by the security team.
• Coordinate with law enforcement for situational information.
• Communicate issues to the Facility Security Manager and report actions taken.
• Ensure adherence to security protocols, SOPs, and department directives.
• Maintain staffing levels and post rotations.
• Oversee lost and found items and related processes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
