Job summary

Plastipak in Kentucky is seeking a Site Scheduler to coordinate and expedite work flows within and between departments, aligning with production schedules.

You will develop schedules, monitor inventory, and collaborate with Production, Materials, Customer Service, and Logistics to ensure on-time delivery while leveraging SQL, Power BI, and SAP to analyze data and optimize capacity.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong mathematical, analytical, and written communication skills.
• Experience scheduling production in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong proficiency with Excel, SQL, Power BI and SAP (or another ERP/MRP system).

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and adjust production schedules to meet customer demand, optimize plant capacity, and achieve inventory targets.
• Monitor production performance, material availability, and inventory levels, proactively resolving scheduling conflicts and production constraints.
• Partner with Production, Materials, Customer Service, and Logistics teams to prioritize work, coordinate inter-plant transfers, and ensure on-time delivery.
• Analyze production and inventory data using SQL and Power BI to identify trends, support decision-making, and improve scheduling efficiency.
• Utilize SAP and other manufacturing systems to manage production plans, workflow, and material requirements while maintaining data accuracy.
• Support a safe, quality-focused operation by following company policies, food safety requirements, and continuous improvement initiatives
