Job summary

INTREN, LLC is seeking a Safety Specialist to promote exceptional Safety/Quality teamwork at customer work sites. You will mentor, train, and coach crews while resolving safety and workmanship issues.

Responsibilities include conducting jobsite inspections, enforcing safety rules, performing audits, and supporting investigations. Strong communication and prior foreman or risk-management experience are valued for success.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Risk Management Discipline (Safety, Quality, Environment, Criminal Justice) with 3 years’ experience.
• Or 5–10 years of Foreman or General Foreman experience; knowledge of natural gas, electrical or utilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular jobsite safety inspections and enforce safety rules.
• Ensure OSHA, EPA and DOT compliance across sites.
• Conduct safety and quality audits, incident investigations, and root-cause analyses.
• Provide training, toolbox talks, and mentoring for field personnel.
• Cooperate with client security representatives and manage safety-related coordination.
