Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Document deficiencies and implement corrective actions to ensure a safe work environment.
• Attend required meetings with city and agency representatives, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Lead "toolbox" safety talks and facilitate monthly safety committee meetings in accordance with CAL/OSHA standards.
• Develop and enforce health and safety plans as required by project scope, including task-specific safety protocols.
• Adapt safety controls and procedures in response to evolving site conditions and project requirements.

Site Safety Representative Requirements & Qualifications

• 5 years of construction project safety management experience on similar projects, or CSP with experience in construction-related roles
• Formal, documented safety training per CAL/OSHA or other state regulations, including:

OSHA 30 or OSHA 500 AND completed CHST

• Fall protection
• Material handling
• Confined space

• First Aid/CPR certification within the past 2 years
• Trained and experienced in the hazards and complexity of pump station or utility infrastructure projects

Site Safety Representative Day-to-Day Responsibilities
