Job summary

Qualifications

• 5 years of construction project safety management experience on similar projects.
• Formal, documented safety training per CAL/OSHA or other state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections of active field work areas, monitoring site conditions and evaluating employee work practices.
• Document deficiencies and implement corrective actions to ensure a safe work environment.
• Attend required meetings with city and agency representatives, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Lead "toolbox" safety talks and facilitate monthly safety committee meetings in accordance with CAL/OSHA standards.
• Develop and enforce health and safety plans as required by project scope, including task-specific safety protocols.
• Adapt safety controls and procedures in response to evolving site conditions and project requirements.
