Job summary

Sheakley is seeking a Safety Professional for a 2-year, 1099 contractor assignment in Santa Teresa, NM. The role focuses on field safety operations, documentation, and incident response on a large data center build.

You'll work with project leadership to perform daily site safety tasks, participate in site walks, assist with commissioning activities, and ensure compliance with OSHA and contractor safety standards while supporting project schedule objectives.

Qualifications

• OSHA 30 construction certification required.
• CPR/First Aid certification current.
• Fall protection competent person certification required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage safety documentation including JHAs, PTPs, toolbox talks, and related records.
• Participate in routine site walks and field observations.
• Serve as a safety resource for project leadership and field personnel.
• Respond to incidents and assist with investigations and corrective actions.
• Support commissioning and startup activities.
• Monitor safety during power skid commissioning and related operations.
• Coordinate with contractors to ensure safety compliance across activities.
• Maintain a visible field presence in active work areas.

Location: Santa Teresa, NM

Duration: 2 Years (Start: 10/26/2026)

Type: 1099 Contractor

Compensation & Schedule

Pay Rate: $56/hr

Per Diem: None (Locals Only)

Pay Frequency: Weekly

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 40 Hours Per Week

Additional Schedule Details: Weekend overtime available as project demands require. Project site operates seven days per week.
