Job summary

Performix is seeking a Quality Control Officer / Site Safety & Health Officer (QC/SSHO) to ensure construction activities comply with contract requirements, codes, and safety regulations at the client site. The role requires managing the QC Plan, APP, inspections, and regulatory compliance across two NASA locations with mileage reimbursement for travel.

Qualifications

• OSHA certification or OSHA/Safety trainings.
• Experience performing safety checks at client sites.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain the project Quality Control Plan.
• Conduct Preparatory, Initial, and Follow-Up inspections for all DFOW.
• Verify materials, equipment, and workmanship meet contract requirements.
• Maintain quality control documentation, inspection reports, deficiency logs, testing records, and as-built documentation.
• Identify and track non-conforming work and ensure corrective actions.
• Coordinate quality inspections and testing activities with subcontractors, vendors, and project stakeholders.
• Prepare daily QC reports and provide status updates to project management.
• Lead safety orientations, toolbox talks, and safety meetings.
• Develop and review Activity Hazard Analyses (AHAs).
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and injuries, and implement corrective actions.
