Thermo Systems, LLC is seeking an experienced Site Safety Professional to partner with Corporate Safety and lead on-site safety during electrical installations, construction, and commissioning.

You will develop safety policies, deliver training, conduct inspections and audits, manage risk assessments, lead incident investigations, and ensure compliance with OSHA/NFPA 70E across all sites and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in safety, OHS, Environmental Science or related field; or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years in a safety management role, preferably in electrical installations, construction, or commissioning.
• Extensive knowledge of OSHA, NFPA 70E, and other safety standards.
• Certifications such as OSHA 30, CSP, OSHA 500, NFPA 70E, First Aid, MEWPS, and related curricula.
• Advanced Safety Certification (CHST, STSC, ASP or CSOP) REQUIRED.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with corporate safety leadership to align site goals with company safety initiatives.
• Lead all on-site safety efforts, ensuring OSHA/NFPA compliance and company safety policies.
• Develop and enforce site safety plans and procedures for all project phases.
• Review and update safety procedures to reflect regulatory changes and project demands.
• Conduct safety inspections/audits and coordinate with subcontractors on safety compliance.
• Identify hazards related to electrical systems and develop mitigation plans.
• Manage DHA program on-site to ensure 100% participation and GC compliance.
• Prepare safety reports and communicate issues to leadership and clients.
• Deliver safety training for internal teams and subcontractors, including lockout/tagout and PPE.
• Lead accident investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure timely reporting of incidents and near-misses per protocols.
• Coordinate with subcontractors to maintain safety oversight.
• Develop emergency response plans for incidents such as electrical accidents or fires.
• Oversee safety during commissioning, including testing and startup activities.
• Provide weekly safety updates highlighting risks and improvements.
• Promote continuous safety improvement across teams and projects.
