The role focuses on promoting a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance, conducting inspections, investigations, and delivering safety training to employees and contractors. Key responsibilities include managing orientation programs, conducting job-specific safety training, leading safety meetings, and maintaining thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in construction, industrial, manufacturing, or facility safety.
• Strong knowledge of workplace safety principles, hazard identification, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience conducting safety orientations, training, inspections, and incident investigations.
• Strong understanding of root-cause analysis and corrective action processes.
• Ability to communicate effectively with employees, contractors, supervisors, and project leadership.

Responsibilities

• Manage the site/facility safety orientation program for employees and contractors.
• Develop and conduct job-specific safety training based on site activities and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate and lead routine safety meetings with relevant topics.
• Document meeting minutes, action items, and attendance records.
• Perform daily safety and health assessments and targeted inspections.
• Document inspection findings and track corrective actions to closure.
• Identify unsafe conditions and implement corrective measures with leadership and contractors.
• Conduct investigations of safety incidents and health events; perform root-cause analysis.
• Prepare investigation reports and maintain safety documentation.
