Job summary

A leading construction firm in Albany, NY is seeking a Safety Manager to develop and maintain safety programs across job sites. The role includes conducting regular site visits, leading safety training sessions, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety or related field, along with at least 5 years of construction safety experience. A strong understanding of OSHA standards and relevant certifications are a must. This position is full-time.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction safety experience, preferably in large-scale projects.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1926 Construction Standards.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Certification required.
• Experience developing and implementing Job Hazard Analyses and Safety Plans.

Responsibilities

• Maintain company-wide safety policies and develop job-specific safety plans.
• Conduct regular job site visits to ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards.
• Lead frequent safety trainings and meetings.
• Investigate incidents and prepare detailed reports.
