Job summary

The Brock Group is seeking a Site Safety Manager/Lead to manage all aspects of the Brock HSEQ management system, providing safety leadership for corporate and site activities and ensuring safe and reliable services to customers. This role supports health and safety activities through proactive involvement in enforcing and implementing safety programs at Brock work locations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma; college degree in occupational health and safety an asset.
• 7+ years direct field experience.
• NCSO (Canada) or CSST (US).
• Formal root cause analysis training and experience in incident investigation.
• Basic first aid and CPR training required.
• EMT and HAZMAT first responder training a plus.
• Experience implementing and managing HSE strategies.

Responsibilities

• Promote Brock’s HSEQ culture in all business aspects.
• Inspect work areas and liaise with supervisors on HSEQ matters.
• Review hazard assessment and risk documents and provide feedback.
• Ensure compliance with HSEQ programs by all personnel, vendors, and visitors.
• Coordinate and approve Site Emergency Plan.
• Keep orientation documentation for Brock’s HSE program up to date.
• Audit Toolbox/Weekly Safety meetings and guide supervisors.
• Track site and area incident trends and statistics.
• Oversee incident investigations and reporting per Brock’s system.
• Communicate safety mission and lead teams toward safety goals.
• Lead safety meetings and training to raise HSEQ awareness.
• Monitor substandard conditions and actions; implement improvements.
• Maintain records for site-specific training activities.
• Provide training to operations personnel on company safety procedures.
• Oversee subcontractor pre-qualification and training.
• Support continuous improvement with QMS and quality control teams.
