Job summary

ERM is hiring Site Safety Supervisors in Allentown, PA to lead on-site safety teams for a key manufacturing client. You will oversee hazard assessments, enforce safety plans, and ensure compliance with 29 CFR 1926 during heavy equipment installation and commissioning.

This is a full-time, limited-term role (1 year, 70 hours per week) with a 1 week on/1 week off schedule, offering a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities to advance within ERM.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of construction safety leadership experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Health and Safety preferred.
• BCSP CSP/CHST or OSHA 30-hour Construction certifications preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of 29 CFR 1926 and OSHA regulations.
• Strong leadership and ability to manage diverse on-site teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enforce site-specific safety plans and procedures.
• Conduct inspections and risk assessments for heavy equipment sites.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain required records.
• Provide safety training and daily toolbox talks.
• Manage equipment safety, PPE use, and incident investigations.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to promote a strong safety culture.
• Develop and drill emergency response plans.
