Job description

ESS-191

Provide safety coverage for air handler projects at Wright Patterson AFB. Responsibilities include removing, repairing base units and footings, and replacing air handlers on buildings at the facility.

1. Manage safety orientation program and provide ongoing job-specific safety training.
2. Coordinate and conduct safety meetings, including preparing materials, agendas, minutes, and tracking attendance.
3. Conduct daily safety and health inspections, maintaining a written log.
4. Conduct investigations and complete required reports.
5. Maintain OSHA Form 300 and Daily Production reports for prime and subcontractors.
6. Keep safety reference materials accessible on-site.
7. Attend safety and project meetings as required.
8. Develop, implement, and enforce Accident Prevention Plans and Activity Hazard Analyses.
9. Ensure compliance with safety and health requirements among personnel and subcontractors.
10. Maintain a list of hazardous chemicals on-site along with Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).
11. Organize tasks efficiently and work independently without direct supervision.
12. Perform other duties as assigned.
