PBI Steel Construction is seeking an experienced Site Safety Coordinator who is responsible for promoting and maintaining a safe, compliant, and productive work environment on structural steel erection projects. This position ensures compliance with OSHA regulations, company safety policies, Louisiana workplace requirements, and applicable federal employment laws while helping reduce workplace hazards and strengthen the company’s safety culture.
The Site Safety Coordinator serves as a safety leader on assigned projects and works closely with the Site Safety Manager, Project Management, Field Supervision, Subcontractors, Clients, and Employees to identify hazards, reduce risk, prevent injuries, and ensure all work is performed safely and efficiently.
Candidates must possess and be able to provide verifiable copies of all required licenses, certifications, and training credentials applicable to the position. Documentation may include, but is not limited to, OSHA certifications, NCCER credentials, First Aid/CPR certifications, CDL licenses, TWIC cards, welding certifications, and other job‑related qualifications. Verification of credentials are required prior to employment consideration or offer of employment.
