Job summary

CR Meyer is seeking a Safety Coordinator to support the construction project management team in risk and health/safety program administration. You will implement the Risk Management program on multiple job sites, conduct audits, and lead safety trainings to ensure compliance with site requirements and CR Meyer policies.

You will act as a safety champion, organize PPE on onboarding, maintain records, and assist with emergency response planning.

Qualifications

• One to three years of experience in health & safety or construction required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health & Safety required.
• A combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
• OSHA 510 certification preferred.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products required.
• Ability to complete all CR Meyer training and perform job duties within safety guidelines required.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and comply with CR Meyer’s Drug & Alcohol Policy and Program.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, insurable driving history and ability to operate a motor vehicle following all traffic laws and safe, courteous driving habits.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
• Ability to travel to various project sites within the United States required.

Responsibilities

• Support construction project management in risk and safety programs.
• Administer the CR Meyer Risk Management program for projects and sites.
• Attend routine meetings including pre-task planning and toolbox talks.
• Conduct site visits and safety audits; issue corrective actions.
• Organize site safety training and onboarding including PPE.
• Maintain safety training records and reports.
• Coordinate emergency response and on-site safety procedures.
• Enforce CR Meyer Drug & Alcohol policy and program.
