Job summary

CR Meyer seeks a Safety Coordinator to support construction project management on site, focusing on risk management and health and safety programs. You will administer the CR Meyer Risk Management program for specific projects and sites, ensuring compliance by management, staff, and subcontractors.

Responsibilities include site audits, safety training, onboarding with PPE, incident investigations, and emergency response coordination.

Qualifications

• One to three years of experience in health & safety or construction.
• Bachelors degree in Occupational Health & Safety required.
• OSHA 510 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administers the CR Meyer Risk Management program on projects and job sites.
• Interprets and ensures compliance with the Risk Management program for management, administrative and field staff.
• Participates in pre-task planning, toolbox talks, and safety meetings.
• Conducts site visits, audits and makes corrective recommendations; issues warnings if needed.
• Onboards new employees with proper PPE and safety training.
• Leads by example and promotes CR Meyer values and safety guidelines.
• Administers Drug & Alcohol program, coordinating with testing facilities.
• Prepares accident documentation and conducts investigations.
• Maintains safety training records and compliance in Viewpoint.
• Coordinates emergency response and post-accident follow-up.
• Maintains safety supplies/PPE and notices at job sites.
• Represents CR Meyer professionally and travels to various project sites in the United States.
