Job summary

Prolaio is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to ensure the cardiovascular data platform reliably captures, transports, and delivers continuous biosensor data for researchers. You will build monitoring, define SLOs, manage incident response, and automate to keep critical data flows healthy.

You will investigate incidents across the participant-to-platform stack, determine root causes across hardware, firmware, apps, and connectivity, and implement durable improvements to reduce toil and improve

Qualifications

• Experience creating monitoring for data pipelines and devices.
• Ability to define and maintain SLI/SLOs and error budgets.
• Experience with incident response and postmortems.

Responsibilities

• Build monitoring for data freshness, volume, and quality.
• Define and maintain SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets for data services.
• Join on-call rotation and lead incident response.
• Write blameless postmortems with follow-up actions.
• Investigate device failures end-to-end across hardware to platform.
