We're seeking a Site Reliability Engineer for a team focused on monitoring, incident management, reliability engineering, automation, and proactive system optimization for our critical banking infrastructure and services.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of FNBO's monitoring ecosystem. This includes implementing monitoring frameworks, dashboards, alerting, and tooling for proactive issue detection and resolution, plus advancing monitoring-as-code practices. Partner with application and platform teams to improve service reliability, observability, and overall system health. Support the growth and evolution of the Site Reliability Engineering practice at FNBO, embracing engineering-first approaches to operational challenges. Participate in incident response for high-severity events, contributing technical expertise to drive rapid resolution and minimize customer impact. Apply infrastructure-as-code principles to improve consistency, repeatability, and scalability. Identify and reduce toil through automation and process improvement, freeing capacity for higher-value engineering work. Participate in post-incident reviews and support the implementation of corrective and preventive actions. Assist in analyzing system performance trends and capacity utilization, helping surface actionable improvement opportunities.
Compensation range (base pay): $79,363.00-$130,949.00. This role may have a specific starting pay within this range. Final compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon work experience, education, and/or skill level.
It is anticipated that the incumbent in this role will work in a hybrid capacity, balancing in-person collaboration three (3) days a week with remote flexibility two (2) days a week. As part of our team, you'll experience the energy and relationship-building of face-to-face collaboration while still enjoying the flexibility of remote workdays. We provide the tools and technology to ensure seamless transitions between work environments, supporting your productivity wherever you are. Please note that work location is subject to change based on business needs.
