Xometry in Lexington, KY is seeking an enthusiastic Site Reliability Engineer II to strengthen the reliability and performance of our infrastructure and software systems across engineering teams. This role emphasizes scalable platforms, observability, and collaboration to deliver safe deployments for customers.

You will build reliable infrastructure across AWS, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines, contribute to on-call duties, and work with cross-functional partners to continuously improve system

Qualifications

• 3+ years in infrastructure management or backend development in a fast-paced product environment.
• Experience with AWS, including deploying, monitoring, and scaling production workloads.
• General experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and Docker.
• Comfortable working in an operational environment, including on-call participation.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own assigned problem statements and drive them to completion with guidance from senior engineers.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code while improving existing systems and features.
• Estimate timelines for features and tasks, balancing effort, risk, and impact.
• Collaborate across teams, communicating progress, blockers, and outcomes clearly.
• Seek feedback to improve code quality, technical skills, and delivery consistency.
• Support team members and contribute to a positive, learning-oriented culture.
• Develop, configure, and maintain platforms for deployed software (AWS, Kubernetes, networking).
• Develop, configure, and maintain observability and monitoring tools (Coralogix, Sentry).
• Develop, configure, and maintain CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions runners, ArgoCD).
