Job summary

LexisNexis Risk Solutions is seeking a DevOps/Cloud Engineer to support provisioning, deployment, and security improvements within our cloud infrastructure. You will help implement automation, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with senior engineers to apply best practices across Azure-based environments.

You gain exposure to cloud technologies, automation tools, data platforms, and scalable platforms while contributing to documentation and cross-functional initiatives.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, cloud engineering, or related IT roles.
• Familiarity with at least one major cloud platform (Azure preferred).
• Basic understanding of networking concepts (VNETs, DNS, routing).
• Experience with scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
• Exposure to infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, ARM templates).
• Understanding of version control systems (Git/GitHub).
• Basic knowledge of monitoring and logging tools.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience/certifications.

About the Role:

This role will focus on assisting applications with provisioning needs, deployment support, and security improvements. You’ll help implement automation, troubleshoot issues, and work closely with senior engineers to learn and apply best practices. Requirements:

• Familiarity with at least one major cloud platform (Azure preferred, AWS or GCP acceptable).
• Basic understanding of networking concepts (VNETs, DNS, routing).
• Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Exposure to infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, ARM templates, etc.).
• Understanding of version control systems (Git/GitHub).
• Basic knowledge of monitoring and logging tools.
• Familiarity with concepts like containerization, serverless functions, or automation workflows is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field preferred.
• Equivalent experience and/or technical certifications (Azure, AWS, GCP) will be considered.

U.S. National Base Pay Range: $71,600 - $119,400. Geographic differentials may apply in some locations to better reflect local market rates.
