Job summary

LexisNexis Risk Solutions is seeking a DevOps/Cloud Engineer to assist in provisioning, deployment support, and security improvements for cloud infrastructure powering our Insurance applications. You will help implement automation, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with senior engineers to learn best practices across Azure, Terraform, and Git workflows.

You will gain exposure to cloud platforms, automation tools, and data platforms while contributing to CI/CD pipelines and incident resolution

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in DevOps, SRE, cloud engineering, or related IT roles (internships count).
• Familiarity with at least one major cloud platform (Azure preferred; AWS or GCP acceptable).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field preferred.
• Equivalent experience and/or technical certifications (Azure, AWS, GCP) will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing cloud infrastructure as code (primarily Azure) to support applications.
• Work with data storage systems under guidance from senior team members.
• Help develop and maintain automated workflows for deploying applications and infrastructure.
• Participate in troubleshooting and incident resolution, documenting solutions and preventive measures.
• Collaborate with engineers and non-technical team members to understand requirements and translate them into technical tasks.
• Learn and apply CI/CD, automation, and monitoring best practices.
• Follow security best practices and assist in implementing controls to protect data and infrastructure.
• Contribute to team documentation for technical and non-technical audiences.

About the Role:

• Understanding of version control systems (Git/GitHub).

• Basic knowledge of monitoring and logging tools.

• Familiarity with concepts like containerization, serverless functions, or automation workflows is a plus.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field preferred.

• Equivalent experience and/or technical certifications (Azure, AWS, GCP) will be considered.

U.S. National Base Pay Range: $71,600 - $119,400. Geographic differentials may apply in some locations to better reflect local market rates.
