Job summary

TikTok USDS Joint Venture LLC seeks an experienced SRE/DevOps engineer to ensure the reliability and performance of the Lark product. You will oversee production lifecycle, deployments, incidents and capacity planning to sustain high-traffic operations.

Responsibilities include building automation, monitoring dashboards, and tooling, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet SLAs. The role is based in San Jose, CA with in-person work requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field or equivalent experience.
• 1+ years of SRE/DevOps experience in large-scale online services.
• Programming experience in C, C++, Java, Python, C#, or Go.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall reliability of Lark product.
• Manage lifecycle of production systems including change management, deployment, operations and incident response.
• Monitor systems and respond to incidents to maintain SLA and review production incidents.
• Perform capacity management for compute, storage and network bandwidth to ensure stability and cost efficiency.
• Provide strong support during big events to handle large traffic.
• Build tools, automations, visualizations and monitors for global infrastructure.
