Job summary

SpaceX seeks a Site Reliability Engineer to operate and scale mission-critical GNC tools and infrastructure. You will work with GNC engineers to maintain on-prem services, an HPC cluster, and data pipelines, enabling reliable simulations and analyses for multiple vehicle programs.

The role emphasizes collaboration, performance optimization, and end-to-end lifecycle management from design to deployment, with the ability to adapt to mission-critical, high-urgency work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent professional experience.
• 2+ years in software development or 4+ years in site reliability/DevOps.
• Experience with Linux and Python.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, upgrade, operate, and scale GNC products and services.
• Provision and maintain virtual and physical servers.
• Collaborate with HPC and GNC engineers to ensure reliability and operability.
• Monitor and respond to incidents for web apps and services.
• Develop or improve GNC web apps and tooling for usability and robustness.
